GreenGym Outdoor Fitness Equipment
GreenGym equipment is designed for easy installation.
The equipment can be mounted onto concrete footings or direct to surface mount on concrete pads. Our CNC manufacturing process ensures the highest level of accuracy in our fabricated parts which guarantees the mounting of the equipment to the concrete is simple and hassle free. Three ways you can install the equipment, all designed to help you stay within your budget.
However you decide to install the equipment, GreenGym is with you all the way!
Maintenance crews and construction labourers can easily perform the installation work, but non-professionals and volunteers can complete the installation as well. We provide you with detailed specifications showing the minimum installation requirements, and can answer any questions you may have.
Need more guidance, not a problem. We can provide a Certified GreenGym inspector on-site during your installation to guide you every step of the way. The inspector will help assemble and mount the equipment. We can also direct you to GreenGym certified companies in your area that can perform the installation.
GreenGym can complete the entire installation project for you using local installation companies that are supervised by GreenGym. We act as the project manager and take care of all the details. Contact us to learn more about our project management and how we can help you install your equipment.
Protective Surfacing
We highly recommend you install protective surfacing beneath each piece of equipment. Protective surfacing will help to enhance the esthetics of your park design and it can provide a smooth level grade if so desired. Particularly if you are installing your gym for seniors, protective surfacing can help to ease the transition from one surface to another as Seniors approach your equipment. Protective surfacing can also provide you with a specified fall height protection. While our fitness equipment is not playground equipment, some communities will use fall height and protective surfacing specifications to govern your installation. Information on fall height guidelines can be found in most playground safety standards. In Canada, a useful resource with regards to child safety on public equipment is the CSA standard Copies of CAN/CSA-Z614 Children’s Playspaces and Equipment can be obtained from the Canadian Standards Association by phoning 1-800-463-6727 or online at www.csa.ca. And in the United States you can refer to the "Handbook for Public Playground Safety” available online from the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
