What is the Hip Abductor?
The Hip Abductor was designed to work a series of muscle groups in the inner and outer thighs of the legs, the core and the hip flexors. The slow rotating movements will not only strengthen, but also improve flexibility in the legs and hips. These exercises are designed to be done slowly and with control, allowing the user to work at his or her fitness level.
Single leg rotations are performed clockwise and counterclockwise to work the adductor and abductor muslces on either side of the upper thigh. Double leg rotations are performed to strengthen and stretch the hip flexors and the quadriceps. The exercises themselves are simple, and can be done by any one at any fitness level.
