What is the Lat Pull & Shoulder Press?
This is a double unit that combines two seated upper body strength exercises; the lat pull down and the shoulder press. When performing the lat pull down exercise the user reaches upward, grabs the handles and pulls the bars towards the body. When performing a shoulder press, the user grabs the handle at chest level and pushes the bars upward over the shoulders. Performing exercise on both units will provide a balanced overall upper body work-out. Usually these exercises are performed in 1-2 sets of several repetitions. Resistance on this unit is achieved by one’s own body weight when the chair raises as the exercises are performed.
